A major utility provider is warning customers of a scam. Northwestern spokesman Tom Glanzer says it involves the collection of alleged overdue utility bills…..
He says if Northwestern does in fact call, it representatives will have more information than the scammers…
Glanzer says the scams surface on a regular basis….
Again if you’re a Northwestern customer and receive such a call, hang up and call 1-800-245-6977 to make sure you’re talking to a legitimate customer service representative.
