Huron To Attend SHOT Show In Vegas With GOED

Could a major firearms manufacturer end up calling Huron home? Perhaps. Representatives of Huron will be joining parties from Aberdeen, Chamberlain, Madison, Mitchell, Mobridge, North Sioux City, Pierre, Rapid City, Sturgis and Watertown at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade show in Las Vegas in mid-January. The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development will have a booth at the SHOT Show for the 13th year. Governor Dennis Daugaard says South Dakota’s relatively low tax burden and reasonable regulatory climate are good reasons for firearms companies to look to South Dakota for business expansion. Also attending the SHOT show will be Glacial Lakes Area Development and Black Hills Power.
