Official Explanations In Place For Two Of Three Possible Ballot Measures

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has written the explanations for two of three prospective ballot measures.  He says just shy of 16,000 valid signatures will be required before the measures are put to a vote:

He says the second measure deals with preferred insurance providers:

Jackley says that all of the explanations are drafted by his staff of both young and seasoned lawyers with final approval his.  Since becoming attorney general he has only had one explanation challenged.
