With all of the recent rains, yards across Huron have greened up nicely, which has led to an increase in lawn mowing. City Engineer Mike Wever says it’s important to keep grass clippings off city streets….
A search of the city’s website for any fines or ordinances regarding discharging grass clippings into the street turned up nothing, only a mention of lawn mowing in regards to a home occupation permit.
