Agenda Released For De Smet's Time As Capital For A Day

The agenda is set for next week when De Smet will become Capital For A Day. Governor Dennis Daugaard will take part in a number of activities in De Smet on May 10th. A round table discussion on keeping the next generation in South Dakota will be held at the De Smet High School from one to two P-M. From two until three residents will be able to speak one-on-one with the Governor during a coffee and constituent hour. Capital for a Day in De Smet will wrap-up with Daugaard attending the ribbon-cuttings at Sheyenne Dakota and American Engineered Products. Tours of the facilities will follow the ribbon-cutting. Community members are encouraged by the Governor’s Office to participate in Capital for a Day activities next Friday.
