Washington Budget Battles To Begin

Both democrats and republicans in Washington have introduced budget resolutions in the past week, so the debate over taxes and spending has resumed.  While calling the budget introduced by Wisconsin republican Representative Paul Ryan a “warmed over version of a twice rejected plan”, South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson called the version produced by the Senate a reasonable alternative.  He says the democratic plan uses additional taxes as a way to cut the deficit…
