Gibson Reacts To Daugaard Budget

Gibson also liked Daugaard’s plan for reducing the numbers of criminals locked up in the state. Some improvement to the State Fairgrounds are also in the budget.

The Governor’s four-point-one billion dollar state budget will provide modest increases of three-percent on education, health care and salaries for state workers. Daugaard is leaving about 26 million dollars uncommitted and will negotiate with the Legislature this winter on how to spend the extra money
