South Dakota Jobless Numbers Creeping Up

South Dakota’s unemployment rate ticked up a bit in August to four point five percent. That is the highest percentage so far this year. The low was four point two percent in January.  State Department of Labor and Regulation Secretary Pam Roberts says the slight movements don’t show any kind of trend…

The labor force has actually dropped by about five thousand workers since January.
