LeGrand, Flowers To File Habeas Corpus Papers

The man convicted in the 2009 shotgun slaying of Ricardo “R.J” Hein is making one of his last possible attempts to be released from the State Penitentary. John LeGrand has intended to file a habeas corpus in court. Beadle County States Attorney says he’s recieved limited information about it…

As Moore mentioned Shannon Flowers has also expressed a desire to file a habeas. He is serving a life sentence for the Februrary 2009 murder of Brittany Chua and her unborn child Hannah. Edwin Thompson was sentenced 13 months ago to prison time for the November 2009 death of Ryan Treadway at the Bradfield-Leary Center in Huron.
