Dangerous Heat Continues

With a heat advisory in effect through Friday, a National Weather Service Meteorologist is stressing safety, especially when it comes to children and pets in vehicles…..

During a recent experiment with light and dark colored vehicles, Todd Heitkamp noted that the temperature in the dark colored vehicle in the midday sun soared to 147 degrees in about an hour.  Heitkamp has a number tips to stay cool
