One Of Three Arrested In Burglary Spree Out On Bond

One of three people arrested in a string of burglaries that stretch over three counties is out of jail following their arrests on Friday. Twenty-seven year-old Emily Montoya is out of jail on a personal recognisance bond. She is charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond for 35-year-old Joesph Gregg has been set at 10-thousand dollars cash or surety. Bond for the other man, 32-year-old Corey Bunch, is set at 10-thousand dollars in Beadle County and five-thousand dollars in Sanborn County. Beadle County Deputy States Attorney Jeff Banks says Bunch gave authorities a fake name. His real name is Craig Stolz. Gregg and Stolz, both of Wessington Springs are facing five counts each of Third Degree Burglary and one count of Attempted Burglary Third Degree Burglary is a Class Four Felony with a maximum of up to 10 years in prison and up to a 20-thousand dollar fine. The penalties for attempted Burglary are half of that. Additional court dates for Gregg, Stolz and Montoya are still pending. Additional charges may also be pending in Beadle, Jerauld and Sanborn Counties.
