Thune Wants Cuts Made Before "Lame Duck" Session

Members of Congress will have to make some major decisions on budget cuts and taxes before the end of the year. That’s when the sequestration process will begin. That’s a series of automatic cuts that was the only result of the failed “supercommittee” effort last winter.  South Dakota Senator John Thune says he doesn’t want to see all those decisions dumped into a lame duck session after the November election…
