In just two months, South Dakota Wind Partners have reached their $ 16 million investment goal and will be moving forward with their wind project in Jerauld County. The wind partners group will own seven turbines adjacent to Basin Electric and Prairie Winds 101 turbines. Wind Partners President Jim Burg says even though their goal has been met they’ll still accept further investments.

Wind Partners hopes to have their turbines operating by the end of January of 2011.
