Beadle County Unified Task Force Announces Beadle County COVID-19 Call Center
HURON, S.D. – March 26, 2020 – In conjunction with our community partners, the Beadle County COVID-19 Task Force has opened a call center for COVID-19. The call center will begin providing services on Friday, March 27, 2020.
The call center can be reached at (605) 353-6214 and will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The call center will be staffed with medical professionals. If individuals have questions about COVID-19, possible symptoms, patient screening for testing and resources available they are encouraged to contact the call center. The call center will also be able to provide assistance for home management if individuals have been asked to quarantine.
If you are experiencing an emergency, you should still call 9-1-1, making sure to notify the dispatcher of your symptoms.
The Beadle County Unified COVID-19 Task Force still encourages good social distancing, along with the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and the South Dakota Department of Health.
