The annual Huron 5 Star cross country meet held annually has been re-named the Roger Loecker Invitational meet. The Huron Board of Education approved the proclamation last night. Loecker started up the Tiger cross country program and coached both the girls and boys squads until his retirement. The Loecker Invitational is held annually between the ESD Conference meet and the state meet. The first Roger Loecker Invitational will be held October 12 at Broadland Creek Golf Course.
