$23,887 Raised After Three Nights of the Huron Salvation Army Christmas Basket Program

A total of $23,887 has been raised through three nights of the Huron Salvation Army Christmas Basket Program.

Tonight is the final night of the four night event. Performers will include Wolsey-Wessington Band, Holy Trinity Choir of Angels, Voila!, Mt Oliver Choir, and American Lutheran Church Choir.

You are reminded to send your pledges to the Huron Salvation Army Christmas Basket Program to P.O. Box 1362 and please write on the check or envelope “Christmas Basket Program”.

This is the final day the Salvation Army is taking application for Christmas Food Baskets and Angel Tree Gifts.

Applications must be made in person at the Salvation Army, 237 Illinois S.W., this afternoon from 1-3 pm.

You are asked to bring social security cards, and photo IDs for each member of the family., proof of residency, verification of income for the previous 60 days, the prior month’s expense and food stamp amount, even if they have applied in the past.

Applicants with children should also provide the child’s clothing size and a gift or toy suggestion.
