Chinese Soybean Contracts Good For South Dakota Growers

Chinese Agricultural leaders have signed 13 contracts for close to $ 3 billion or 4.83 million metric tons of U.S. soybeans.  South Dakota Soybean Growers President Paul Casper of Lake Preston, says China remains an important trading partner for American soybean growers and the latest purchase shows the trading relationship continues to grow.

In the last marketing year, the United States exported about 1.8 billion bushels of soy valued at $ 23 billion.
