South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard has filed a petition with the Surface Transportation Board raising questions about the purchase of the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad by the Canadian Pacific. The petition is asking the STB to determine if the CP lived up to promises made when they bought the DM&E.
