The Huron City Commission meets tonight for their regular weekly meeting. Commissioners will hear semi-annual updates from the Huron Event Center and Huron Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau. The Commission will also consider approval of annual license renewals for the Huron Mobile Court and Woody’s Trailer Court. Commissioners will consider proposed bonuses from Splash Central employees and a recommendation to approve the City Attorney job description. As a part of that, Commissioners will consider issuing a Civil Service call and advertising for a full-time City Attorney. Approval of a salary range for the City Attorney position will also be considered. Two part-time hiring recommendations will also be considered, when the Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. There are no scheduled executive or work sessions. The meeting is open to the public.
