The Huron Salvation Army will give it another go tonight in kicking off one of the groups largest fund raising events for the holiday season. Monday night’s Salvation Army Christmas Basket program was canceled due to a winter storm out of concern for student performers traveling in difficult road conditions. There is concern over conditions tonight as well with blowing snow being an issue. Weather permitting, performing tonight will be the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Choir, We Found Sound, The Dakota Harmony Chorus, Bethesda Praise Team and the James Valley Christian School Band. The Christmas Basket Program will air live on Midco Cable Channel Six, The Huron Tiger Network, online at www.christmasbasket.us and of course on the radio on 1210-AM KOKK. The Salvation Army Christmas Basket Program begins at 6:30 P-M at the Huron High School Auditorium. Admission to view the program in person is free.
