The 2013 Huron Police Department Citizen’s Police Academy graduated from the 10 week program Thursday night at the Callies Law Enforcement Training Center in the Campus Center. The Huron Police Department restarted the Citizen’s Police Academy last year after an eight-year hiatus, to try and create better relationships between the department and the community and to get C-P-A graduates to assist with volunteering with department activities.
