The four night musical program raises money for the Salvation Army’s Christmas food basket program. It began 63 years ago as a broadcast on a local radio station. Years later a live TV broadcast was add to a local cable access channel and most recently the Christmas Basket program has been streamed live on the Internet…

The Huron Salvation Army is the only Salvation Army chapter in the United States to have such a tele-thon style program for raising money. Donations not used for Christmas Food Basket will be used to supplement the Salvation Army Food Pantry for the remainder of the year.
