We have been hearing of approaching winter storm systems that will be moving through the region this week. As we start the week it is still mild as we hear from Jeff Chapman with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls.
He talks about how the storm will move through the area.
People are caught off guard with most winter weather events, finding themselves stuck by the side of the road or in the ditch. Chapman said now is the time to take a serious look at changing travel plans.
