SHELTON APPEALS TO RESIDENTS TO DO MORE TO IMPROVE IMAGE

At Monday nights Huron City commission Laurie Shelton with the Huron Chamber and Visitors Bureau took time to thank city employees for clean up of storm damage from Summer storms.  The first part of August the commission asked residents to take time to clean up their property in anticipation of the State Fair.  Laurie took time in the public forum of the meeting to appeal to residents to do more to improve the city’s image.

Shelton said everyone can do more to keep the city looking good throughout the year.

She said some of the issues are quite visible when walking or driving around Huron.

The commission said they would address the situation at a later date.
