BANNER ANNOUNCES INTENT TO REMAIN IN ABERDEEN

MINNEAPOLIS, M.N.(Press Release)– Evan Burgstaler, Executive Vice President of Operations for Banner Engineering Corp., Minneapolis, MN, announced the suspension of a plan to close their Aberdeen, SD manufacturing plant and that the facility will continue to operate at its current state.
This decision was made due to recent changes in the business and geopolitical climates so that Banner is well positioned to provide ongoing world-class support to the global industrial automation market.

Headquartered in Minneapolis since 1966, Banner Engineering designs and manufactures industrial automation products including sensors, smart IIoT and industrial wireless technologies, LED lights and indicators, measurement devices, machine safety equipment, as well as barcode scanners and machine vision.
Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman told the City Council this is good news for the city.

Banner had 100 plus employees in Huron when they closed one year ago.
